☕ Step 1: Grab a coffee — trust me

Before you sprint to the kiosk, make a tactical stop at the Starbucks inside Harris Teeter (yes, they’re in every one of these stores like it’s a secret alliance). Order yourself a cup of aromatic coffee — something bold to match the DMV energy.

Then, coffee in hand (or still waiting on the counter), head straight to the terminal to renew your registration.
And hey — if you’re a fast runner, you might just hear the barista call out:

…right as you’re printing your new registration sticker. That’s what I call multitasking.

They’re inside Harris Teeter stores around Charlotte. I went to the one on Park Road, but here are a few others:

• Riverbend Village — 4701 Smith Farm Road

They’re open daily — just note they’re down for maintenance Sundays from midnight to noon.

📋 What you’ll need:

Honestly, most of this is just for double-checking — the kiosk pulls up your info automatically once you enter your license or plate number. But still, make sure you have:

• Your driver’s license or state ID
• Your vehicle’s VIN
• Your current auto insurance policy number
• The last 5 digits of your title number
  • If your title was reissued, use the most recent one
• A debit or credit card (Visa or Mastercard)
• License plate

The kiosk will show you everything on screen — you just need to confirm it’s correct. Super easy.

💳 How it works:

1. Walk up to the kiosk and tap the screen
2. Select “Renew Vehicle Registration”
3. Enter your info and pay ($4.95 service fee + 2% card fee)
4. In about a minute — boom: registration card and sticker printed
